Termite protection for new homes and extensions
The National Construction Code requires new homes in termite-prone areas, which includes Adelaide, to have a termite management system that meets Australian Standard AS 3660.1. We install those systems for builders, owner-builders and homeowners adding an extension.
Barrier options
Physical barriers
Installed at slab stage, physical barriers seal the points where termites could get in unseen, such as pipe penetrations and the slab edge. They're chemical free and last the life of the barrier when they're not damaged or bridged.
Chemical soil barriers
A treated zone in the soil under and around the slab. Often used in combination with physical collars on penetrations.
Reticulation systems
A network of pipes laid around the slab so the soil barrier can be topped up later without drilling or trenching. Ask us about availability.
Built around your schedule
- Send us the plans. We quote from the slab plan and confirm the system type.
- Pre-slab install. Penetration collars and perimeter barriers go in before the pour.
- Post-construction. Perimeter treatment and final checks once the landscaping is done.
- Certificates. Installation certificate and durable notice for the meter box, ready for your building surveyor.
For builders
We work with volume and custom builders across the north and north east. Quick site visits, clear invoicing and paperwork that passes inspection the first time.
Existing homes
If your home is already built, a pre-construction barrier isn't possible, but a baiting system or soil barrier will protect it.
